Step 1: PASS RES

Minimum requirement to take RES: GCE 4 “O” Levels

For applicants without 4 “O” Levels: Take WPLN first, then RES

For Applicants with non-local certs: Either (1) Take WPLN First, then RES,
OR (2) Send cert to CEA for assessment via RIA School.
If approved, take RES. If not approved, take WPLN first, then RES
Step 2: QUALITY APPLICANT

Singaporean or SG PR (For PR: NRIC issue date must be at least 10 years)

Age 21

Passed or Exempted from RES
Step 2A: ERA APPROVAL FOR EXPERIENCED SALES PERSON

Submit (1) Associate Agreement, (2) Last 12 months income proof
& (3) Current business card to HR Dept.

For ERA Management’s approval on Title, Comm Split & Fees Waiver
Step 3: DOCUMENT SUBMISSION

If there are request(s) for management’s approval (such as title), please submit a filled-up Associate Agreement Form with items (6) & (7) above to HR Associates Dept. CEA Registration will be processed after management approval.
Step 4: CEA REGISTRATION
​​Applicant must register personally on NTUC RES website (https://res.ntuclearninghub.com) or at Toa Payoh HDB Hub during office hours
Step 4A: CEA GRANTS IPA STATUS (FOR CURRENT SALESPERSONS)
To resign from current agency.​
Step 5: CEA APPROVAL
Congratulations! Once approved, your name will appear at CEA website’s Public Register as ERA Salesperson

Step 2: SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION TO SWITCH ESTATE AGENT
After you sign the Associate Agreement with ERA, ERA will assist you to apply for in-principle approval (IPA) to transfer the CEA registration from your existing estate agency to ERA.
​
Meanwhile, you can continue to practise under your existing estate agent pending the processing by CEA of your application to switch estate agent. The IPA takes approximately 4-6weeks to be processed from the date of application to CEA.

Step 3: CEA APPROVAL
When the IPA and CEA has been granted, ERA will contact you to resign from your existing company. After your existing estate agent submits notification of your resignation to CEA, your transfer is confirmed.
