Step 1: PASS RES EXAMINATION

Minimum requirement to take RES: GCE 4 “O” Levels

For applicants without 4 “O” Levels: Take the Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) assessment first, then RES

For Applicants with non-local certs: Either (1) Take WPLN First, then RES,
OR (2) Send cert to CEA for assessment via RIA School.
If approved, take RES. If not approved, take WPLN first, then RES
Step 2: QUALITY APPLICANT

Singaporean or SG PR (For PR: NRIC issue date must be at least 10 years)

Age 21

Passed or Exempted from RES
Step 3: DOCUMENT SUBMISSION
Please bring along the following items:

Industry Cert

Highest Academic Cert (Local)
-
NRIC
-
Soft Copy Corporate Photo

Joining Fee & Acceleration Course Fee

CNCC**
*”Certificate Of No Criminal Conviction” is needed from PRs with NRIC date of issue less than 10 years.
Apply for CNCC with respective embassy, and the processing time ranges from 1 to 3 months.
Step 4: CEA REGISTRATION
​​Applicant must register personally on NTUC RES website (https://res.ntuclearninghub.com) or at Toa Payoh HDB Hub during office hours
Step 5: CEA APPROVAL
Congratulations! Once approved, your name will appear at CEA website’s Public Register as ERA Salesperson
